Many thanks to Silicon Prairie News for catching up with our boys Jimmy, Shannon and David after they barnstormed the countryside, repping RockDex at CMJ, the FEST and Midwest Connect in the final weeks of October.
Our prairie dawgs at SPN were even kind enough to post this video, taken at the National Association of Recording Merchandisers’ (NARM) Salon during CMJ week. It’s a highlight reel, put together by NARM, from the panel discussion Shannon participated in, titled What Gets Measured Get Managed: Experts Discuss Metrics For Music 2.0. (Shannon is the guy just on the other side of the moderator, Dorothy Hui of Wind-Up Records.)

All in all, Jimmy and Shannon’s trip to CMJ was a resounding success — so much, in fact, that they didn’t even have time to see any bands. “All work, no play,” was Shannon’s summative statement. And for now, that’s just fine.
